Plain weave--- also called square weave, and each warp wire crosses alternately over and under every weft wire and vice versa. Warp and weft wire diameters are usually the same. | Twill weave--- Each weft wire passes alternately above and below every successive pair of warp wires and vice versa. |
Dutch weave--- Dutch or 'Hollander' weave is a plain weave where the diameter of the warp and weft wires, and the mesh count in the warp and weft directions are different. | Plain dutch weave--- Woven as a plain weave, but with the warp wires of greater diameter than the weft wires. |
Twill dutch weave--- Similar to plain dutch weave, but has a double layer of weft wires woven in twill pattern. |
Reverse dutch weave--- Woven as a plain weave, but in reverse manner to plain dutch weave. It has more and finer warp wires and fewer, heavier weft wires. |

Five-haddle weave--- By passing every warp wire alternately up and down each single and four shute wires and vice versa. The pattern is staggered on successive warp wires, providing a facade of parallel diagonal lines. |
