Product Description

Etching process:

1.Photoresist Coating: A light-sensitive photoresist layer (protective coating resistant to etching solutions) is applied to the metal sheet.

2.UV Exposure: Ultraviolet light is used to expose areas where etching is required, leaving unexposed regions protected.

3.Etching: The exposed sheet is immersed in an etching solution (e.g., ferric chloride or nitric acid-based solutions), which dissolves the unprotected metal to form mesh holes.

4.Post-Processing: The remaining photoresist is removed, and the sheet is cleaned to produce the final etched metal mesh.

 

The metal mesh produced by the etching technique is called etched mesh, which has high precision with the highest accuracy of ±0.001 mm. It has no burrs and pressure points, and it will not deform after processing. The etched mesh is commonly used in integrated circuits, precision filtration, fluorescent screen grille, microelectronic components, etc.
